An enjoyable hobby that has become a career. My love of the clay and all its forms and states has fueled a lifelong passion for ceramics.

It began over 40 years ago when I read Bernard Leach’s ‘A Potter’s Book’. This record of the Sung dynasty ceramic techniques became the manual for the modern British craft pottery movement. Their understanding of form and decoration has always inspired my work and I hope it gives you as much joy as it does to me.
