I, Stafford Vance am an independent author located in Crawley, West Sussex. I write from my home, where im kept company by Dino, my spirited Manchester Terrier. Dino ensures that I stay active with daily walks and provides a constant source of companionship and inspiration.

My first novel and very much my passion project is a novel called Max, how to describe it? Simply it is a romantic comedy. Yet it involves many interesting characters including some from the Greek pantheon of gods. It is summed up by one of my reviews This unique and captivating story blends mythological elements with modern twists.
It seamlessly blends fantasy with current times.
The unpredictable plot, memorable characters, and thought-provoking themes make this an unforgettable read.

I have also written a series of three horror novels as part of a larger series. The Shadowpine Chronicles began with Whispers in the Pines, a gripping tale of isolation and natures fury. It continues with Echoes of the Forgotten, a dark story of betrayal, supernatural forces, and the price of uncovering the past. And my favorite, Harvest of Shadows, a chilling exploration of the sinister rituals behind a thriving town. Looking ahead, EtternaLux, the much-anticipated next installment, will release in July, offering readers a chilling dive into the secrets of a carnival unlike any other.

I have just embarked on a new Fantsy project, a series of 5 books all intertwined. A series where the legends that we tell as stories and folklore return to the world, fuelled my the demise and folly of mankind.

When im not crafting stories, I channel my creativity into his other passions, including gaming, IT, and building custom computers. A tech enthusiast at heart, I enjoy getting lost in virtual worlds and tackling new challenges in the digital realm. An avid motorbike rider, I describe my time on the road as “freedom on two wheels”—the perfect escape for clearing his head and sparking new ideas.

I also have a love for cigars and rum and enthusiastically collect both “I must have been a pirate in a past life.” Though my friends would argue it’s more likely the refined palate of a storyteller seeking indulgence.
