Hi my name is Caroline and l run a small craft business called BooPeepCollectables based in Hull.
I have been sewing for many years, initially making clothes for myself family and friends. Later branching out into home furnishings making fully lined curtains, Roman blinds, seat pads and cushions etc.
I use various techniques in my crafting including needle work, knitting and crocheting. A couple of years ago I decided to have a go at quilting and was surprised how much I enjoyed it. My first couple of quilts were small baby quilts before advancing onto my first full size one which I made for my mum. I have since made other larger quilts.
I also make soft toys, doggie accessories including jumpers, coats t-shirts and blankets and have recently branched out into making traditional mohair jointed teddy bears and seasonal decorations.
I have recently had an amazing find ‘patterns for Puffalumps’ the iconic squidgy soft toys made by Fisher Price in the 80’s. I am going to be including these very shortly.
