A seasoned crafter, who has been making different and unique novelty items for 40 years, the last 16 in my dedicated studio supported by my Husband, Son and my two dogs. I scour the charity shops for good quality clothing, which I can up-cycle to use in one of my creations. I womble, stitch and glue to create art.
All items are made to an exceptional standard, I won’t sell anything that is less than perfect in my eyes. The items made are made with love and dedication, re-purposing discarded materials or items from my family’s wardrobes resulting in each piece being individual with its own character and personality.
My favourite pieces to make are Gnomes, doorstops, collectible dolls, bears and whimsical characters such as mice and angels during the year. I love Christmas, and my products reflect this towards the end of the year when my imagination and design skills run wild. In addition to the above, I also hand make ‘Memory Characters’ turning uniforms, clothes or other sentimental materials into a special keepsake which can take pride of place on display and act as a friendly reminder. I have recently turned wedding dresses, graduation gowns or pajamas into a friendly personalised character.
