Alongside my kilts, I have designed a range of beautiful tartan and tweed capes, lined with a lovely paisley jacquard fabric. They look equally elegant as casual daywear and can easily take you into a classy evening. For an extra twist, they can be reversed, and the lining adds a touch of unexpected drama. If required, a shot silk dupion lining can be added, obviously at a higher cost.

As my lime green fleece jacket, with a cerise lining and large matching button, was greatly admired every time I wore it, I decided to add a bolero-style jacket to my collection. It has proved incredibly popular, and ladies are delighted to choose their favourite colour and pick the lining, and then await their new jacket being made in their required size and sent off to them within 2 weeks.

Most of my inspiration happens when other people admire my clothes, accessories and bags. Orders are placed, tartan and tweeds are chosen, and my customers are delighted with the end result. There is something about making personal choices which make people want to order exactly what they want. My office bags have been a great hit, and several orders are being taken. Mine was an experiment and a memory combined, which set it up to be the bag of choice! The favourite combination seems to be tweed on the outside and tartan lined. I love making these bags, and I love seeing the satisfaction on peoples faces when they acquire their unique shoulder bag in stunning fabrics and colours, which reflect their personality.

An amazing conversation with a family member led me to consider making girls dresses in beautiful fabric, and the results have been outstanding. My Christmas collection was very well received by my customers, and the requests for all sizes kept me busy throughout November and December. Im currently working on Summer dresses, and the are adorable! Who doesnt love to see girls in pretty dresses? I am delighted when people ask me to make a dress in a specific shade of loveliness for their little girls!

Where possible, I use locally sourced British wool for my tartans and tweeds, and local suppliers for all the other fabrics. Each garment is made by myself, and made especially with love.
