Beautiful handcrafted, unique wooden bowls, spoons and other household items

My name is Dave and I create wooden household items in my shed in Aylesbury from locally sourced wood of different varieties. What started out as a hobby during lockdown in 2020 has turned into a passion and I now make bowls, ring dishes, bud vases, spoons, butter knives and other small seasonal items like trees and mushrooms. The items I make are completely natural and sustainable and make wonderful gifts.

Every item is handmade and unique. For example, some of my bowls are perfect and smooth, sometimes they are left to dry with a few cracks, sometimes they dry a little wonky and sometimes I add a bit of colour. I aim to bring out the natural beauty in all my products. All of my items are food safe and treated in homemade beeswax, which I also sell.

I use a range of techniques to create my items, including turning with a lathe, carving and cutting with knives and burning with flame and pyrography.
