Self taught fine portrait artist and crafter , I have 14 years experience in my field
Since I was young Ive always known I could draw, because I remember winning an art
competition at primary school, the subject was flowers, and my prize was a wild flowers book. Speed ahead a few years to 2005 I drew all the Disney cars characters for my son, I realized then that I had a natural flare. 2010 I finally started taking art seriously, and I delved into the art world, and my first commission was a year later!
So on my art journey Ive excelled in charcoal, graphite portraits, some on a larger scale and a wall painting for my son of a very large assassins creed character. Ive taught the elderly at a club weekly and appeared in the village news.
Over the years I got into crafting, where I made jointed weighted teddy bears, big dragons and a puppet dragon that got me into a magazine called the teddy bear times!
I had long breaks due to circumstances of serious mental health problems with crippling depression and cptsd for years .. my art was always my savior, as i started recovering and now after such a time of another serious bad episode my spark has come back, since last year Ive done a few commission, got back into coloured pencil, painting and trying my hand at canvas graffiti. Id love to do large scale murals but that will hopefully be an opportunity at some stage. Over the past few months Ive done a few portraits I have a large painting to do and done a graffiti canvas for a charity for fundraising. Ive also made witches hats, and mad hatter hats and I also recently made three large wooden Viking shields which has spurred me onto doing more crafty things like that...
For the future I plan to do wildlife art with charcoal on a large scale, and coloured pencil, and crafts where I will be working on some cosplay items.
