Spider Grandmother

I produce items by quilting, patchwork, knitting, crocheting, sewing, macrame and I also make some jewellery.

For many years, using my creative skills, such as quilting, knitting, crocheting and macrame, I have produced gifts for friends and family and clothing for myself. As I am now a fulltime carer for my elderly mother I hope to turn my hobby into a small income. I love working with colour, texture and layers to produce useful and practical items as well as simply decorative, nice things to have. I draw inspiration from nature and upcycle or repurpose whenever possible.

Although predominantly self-thought through practice, I have attended on-line courses for specific techniques and foresee attending regular courses to expand various creative and artistic skills.

I produce handmade items such as clothing, home décor items, wall art, ornaments, gifts, soft furnishing, jewellery etc.
