herry Parsons, a Horsham native, transitioned from owning a 70s fashion boutique to becoming a mature student of art in the late 90s. She continually refines her skills through workshops, showcasing diverse styles from ballet dancers to seascapes.
Drawing inspiration from travels, her portfolio includes captivating landscapes, Mediterranean seascapes, and her renowned seagulls, adored globally. Working mainly in acrylics or oils, Cherry incorporates light, reflections, water, and humor into her creations.
Adapting to the pandemic, Cherry now sells prints and merchandise online and in boutiques, including mounted prints, umbrellas, fine bone china mugs, and wrapping paper. Her art is accessible to all, catering to those isolating or distant.
In 2021, Cherry actively exhibits at prestigious art events, following a successful in-situ trial at John Lewis at Home. Commissions, from family portraits to grand murals, showcase her versatility.
Last Christmas, Cherrys mural adorned the Causeway Advent Window, a local tradition. As 2024 unfolds, she anticipates more exciting ventures and growth in her artistic journey. Cherry proudly arranges ever-growing offerings, and she looks forward to introducing several new items in the coming year.
