Artist, Art Teacher and trainee counsellor.

I am an artist who finds inspiration in the natural world water being a dominant theme. A deep appreciation for the seasons, foliage of all sorts and the elements is central to my work. I aim to show the experience of being immersed in nature, particularly water and the appreciation of natural treasure - pebbles, shells, and seed pods. Concern for the environment and how this links with the human condition is a constant enquiry.
I work in a range of materials including watercolour, acrylic and various drawing media, combining colour, texture and mark making to evoke an experience of observing or being in nature.
Currently I am an artist teacher, am currently engaged in counselling training and have completed an MA in Visual theory and BA Honours in Fine Art.
