Fish Junkie Studio is an art studio run by (non-identical) twins Tamora and Thistle Longson. We are jacks-of-all-trades and love expanding our skillsets to find interesting new ways to express our creativity! Everything we sell is created by the two of us in our own homes, although in the future we would love to have a physical studio space to be creative in.

Fish Junkie currently operates primarily in the Berkshire area, with occasional trips to stall-hold in London. We love to stall-hold as it allows us to meet other creatives as well as enthusiasts! Well be beginning to stall-hold in Spring 2026, and will be active most of the year. We hope to visit plenty of craft fairs, artist alleys and other events.

Tamora is an Illustration student at UCA. She works with lino-cut printing, digital illustration, acrylic paint, fabric, and various other materials for her work. She loves worldbuilding and in her free time she likes to write stories and create her own characters. Her goal is to create a graphic novel with these characters with fleshed out stories for them! In her work, she likes to focus on visceral feelings and imagery, with contrasting colours and interesting textures. The themes of nature, body, love and liminality are most prevalent in her work.
Thistle has a masters in Neuroscience and paints in her spare time. She mostly works with acrylic paint and cotton canvas for her pieces. Her work primarily focuses on themes of emotion and connection. As well as painting, she loves writing songs and poetry, which she plays on guitar.

We both had a very creative childhood and have always loved to make art in our own ways. By running this studio together, we can both connect with each other and our audience through our work, and try out interesting new techniques as well as developing old ones.
