Tamzin May Jewellery - Silversmith

Tamzin May Jewellery

My work is inspired by natural forms. I mainly work in sterling silver but happy to work in any metal.

I currently have two collections and I am taking on new commissions, as well as repairs and offering a repurpose service to give life back into your old jewellery pieces.

My work is inspired by natural forms. I mainly work in sterling silver but happy to work in any metal. My most recent collection ‘The four elements’ is done using the lost wax process, where I carve the jewellery out of wax and then get it cast into sterling silver. I love using this process for making as it gives me more freedom to carve much more detail into the piece.

I found my love for making and designing jewellery when I started a jewellery evening class, which then led me to study jewellery and silversmithing at Birmingham’s school of Jewellery where I studied for 2 years and completed the HND course.
