Hand-made cross stitch greeting cards.
I work as a full time urgent care advanced paramedic practitioner but enjoy cross stitching in my spare time when Im not patient facing. I make a range of different greeting cards across a variety of occasions and in the process of expanding my inventory to include gift tags (and perhaps other unique personalised items!) Ive been cross stitching regularly since 2020 during Covid lockdown but had initially started cross stitching in my teens and found it a good way to relax and unwind. Eventually Im looking to make larger pieces of cross stitch artwork when my work/life balance allows me but for now I thoroughly enjoy making smaller sized pieces.
I currently have an Etsy store and Instagram page to widen my small business but like the personal touch of providing a face-to-face stall so the public can view my products in real life and have the opportunity to purchase a handmade unique card for any special event.
The majority of the cards are A6 size 10.5cm x 14.85cm (4.1 x 5.8) with a blank interior, so you can write your own personalised messaged, and made on 14 count white Aida fabric. They come supplied with a white A6 envelope and packed in a plastic case sleeve for protection. Christmas greeting cards currently come in a square 14cm x 14cm (5.5 x 5.5) red or green coloured card with a white square envelope. Gift tags are currently made on brown square Kraft card 5.5cm x 5.5cm (2.17 x 2.17) and supplied with hemp rope.
