My name is Hiren and Im the founder of Arashiyama. Working as a practising doctor in the NHS with a background in Trauma and orthopaedics Ive always had an eye for meticulous precision and design. After travelling through Japan though, I came across the stunning Arashiyama Bamboo Grove and began to learn about the many widespread uses of the bamboo plant. Due to its fast growing nature, strength and antibacterial properties, bamboo has an almost unlimited set of uses for everyday products, which inspired me to create the brand. Our range includes everyday reusable items such as coffee cups/makeup pads to more signature items such as our popular cheese board and knife set and bath tray, both perfecting for gifting.
