Saffron Well beadwork jewellery

Beadwork jewellery artist using techniques of bead embroidery and wire work.

I love using reclaimed beads in my creations - rescuing beautiful quality beads from unwanted jewellery found on car boot sales and charity shops and giving them a new life and purpose. I use them together with new beads, leather and wire to create unique one-of-a-kind pieces that carry a message of hope, new life and restoration.

These beads sometimes play the main part in creating a design of a piece. My other source inspiration include nature, music, Scripture and simple things in everyday life. I make bead embroidered bracelets, brooches, necklaces and wire work earrings.

For ethical reasons I decided not to use semi-precious gemstones and beads in my jewellery. I’m using quality glass cabochons and glass, ceramic and wooden beads instead.
