Buttercup Creations is the brain child of me( Angela) a 40+ year old woman whose life long dream was to make unique and fun items for people to enjoy. I started sewing at high school and quickly got a taste for making and designing clothes. over the years i have made many items for family and friends from 1950s dresses to custom cushion covers and it might have stayed that way if Covid had not happened. with me not being able to visit family and friends, i took my love of sewing in a different direction and was soon making tote bags after months of experimenting with different styles of bags and wadding/interfacing ( who knew there was so many ) my confidence began to grow and i started to get a taste for panel prints and unusual fabrics and now with a leap of faith buttercup creations is born and although is still in its infancy i am excited to see where this new journey takes me.
