Natural Harmony is the home of ethical, eco-friendly and vegan candles and wax melts.

Hello, my name is Gill and I am the owner of Natural Harmony, I make eco-friendly candles and wax melts. I am based in Market Drayton, a semi rural community in the lovely county of Shropshire.

Natural Harmony started life in 2019 as a hobby. As a busy Detective I struggled to switch off and relax. I invested time in attending a number of craft workshops with a view to finding a hobby. After trying a number of different workshops there was just something about candle making that ticked all my boxes. I found the art of candle making therapeutic, really relaxing but it also challenged me. Contrary to popular belief, candle making is so much more than popping a wick into liquid wax, it is a science and as I soon discovered it could take several months of testing to perfect a single candle. Every bought that expensive luxury candle only to find it doesnt smell of very much or tunnels when burnt? I really wanted to avoid that so spent an age perfecting the ones I now produce. I initially made candles and melts for my own home but soon received positive encouraging feedback from family and friends. The habit of gifting my candles for birthdays and Christmas was born!

Since retiring from Policing, Natural Harmony has become much more than a hobby, it is my passion and reflects my love for the environment. I wanted to make ethical products and so I use natural wax made from rapeseed oil and coconut oil and nothing else. The wax is not only sustainable and natural but burns cleanly and can be popped into the food waste bin when finished with. I have chosen to use quality fragrance oils which are paraben free and have never been tested on animals. Free from paraffin, soy, beeswax and other animal derivatives my products are not only eco-friendly but vegan. Packaging is made from recycled and recyclable materials and I do not use plastic in my products or packaging. To minimise my carbon footprint I work only with UK based suppliers who share my values.

Scent for the Seasons, all of my products can be used throughout the year but individually do have an affinity with the seasons. My candles and melts have been made with love and I hope you enjoy them, they do smell, divine.
