I love old books, I love the feel of the paper and the smell as you open them. I love making them into something beautiful again when they are looking a bit worn and ragged about the edges. By repurposing them as junk journals - with tea stained paper, or vellum pages, or vintage pages from various old books, and lace edges - it gives them a new lease of life as memory keepers, and diaries and notebooks. Each book that I repurpose as a junk journal is completely unique and therefore special. They make beautiful and unique gifts but are also perfect for documenting special memories
