HISTORY - STORY

Tilden was born during lockdown (COVID-19). After losing my job and whilst all alone on my Narrowboat (apart from crazy FinnDog) i started carving walking staffs from branches found out and about on hikes. I found it very therapeutic and built up a nice little collection.
I gave a few away as gifts to friends and sold a few resulting in some great feedback, from that point onwards TILDEN was born.

All walking staffs are selected from recycled branches and are hand carved unique original pieces.

Unlike sterile, lifeless metal canes and poles, Tilden walking staffs offer natural appeal because they are made from real wood. You can see the fine detail and beauty within the grain which is different within every staff.

Each staff is a work of art. Plus, because they are solid wood, there are no moving parts to become unstable.

Tilden Walking Staffs are hand carved and for everyone made we plant a tree to give back to the environment.
