Walnut Tree Pottery: Hand thrown stoneware and Raku pottery.
I first started my passion for pottery whilst studying at Goldsmiths College, University of London, and continue it now at Aylesford School of Ceramics. All my pots are hand thrown, being either utility stoneware that is oven, microwave and dishwasher proof, or decorative Raku and Saggar pots. These are all of varying sizes, particularly the stoneware, which is intended for practical use. From larger bowls and vases to smaller mugs and jugs that can be used for milk or sauces.
Each item is a unique piece made in my own small pottery. Although I have been doing this for many years now I still feel the same excitement each day that I sit at my wheel.
The items listed and shown are only a small sample of the work I produce.
