Emma Baldwin Ceramics - Pottery and ceramics

Emma Baldwin Ceramics

Hand built and wheel thrown sculptural and functional vessels.

I was first introduced to clay at school aged 14 and have been working with it on and off ever since.

In 1992, I completed a degree in ceramics at Bristol Polytechnic, where I had the privilege to be taught by both Walter Keeler and Mo Jupp - two truly inspiring potters.

Jump forward 30 years, after teaching and running an Art Foundation course, I am back making pots again! My inspiration comes from many sources and is realised through the process of combining hand built and wheel thrown forms.

All my pieces are unique, with evidence of the hand-built remaining integral to the work.
