A mixed craft of sewn and decoupage gift items
Hi my business was initially form as an upcycling of handbags from old to new as a hobby. I would also transform
garments into bags e.g a jacket into a rucksack or a blouse into a tote bag ..
From this I began designing and creating other bags and accessories. During lockdown i developed new skills and I started making memory bears and designed my own template so I could make the best use from the customers loved ones garments. I have made quilts from babies clothes, baseball caps from shirts, cushions from shirts and jumpers and even purses and key fobs as keepsakes. I have been in the textile and upholstery business for 30 years and utilise my skills for my customers , reupholstering furniture, sofas, chairs, stools, headboard and camper van and boat seating. I also make and alter soft furnishings.
My latest craft which Ive brought into the business is decoupage . I upcycled bottles and jars creating beautiful ornaments embellishing them with lights, flowers and candles. Using this craft i create bespoke gifts and memory keepsakes. I have a range of wood products i decorate such as bird houses and nest boxes , candle holders, wall plaques and jewellery and trinket boxes.
