Crafting Larks

An eclectic mix of handmade crafts and art, including mixed media, paintings and model making often inspired by the natural world.

My work is constantly fluid and takes me wherever my imagination goes, exploring many different techniques and ideas. Most importantly the process of creating everything i do, has to make me smile, and in turn i hope for the same reaction from those who engage with it. I have a true love of animals and they are often my subjects, being in clay or needle felting, as well as portraits, and they are frequently personalised to capture much loved pets. i often work with resin and plaster as well as acrylics and mixed media. My work is very accessible and varied, like a little shop of curiosities.
I am mum to two teenagers, and have worked in dog rescue for all my working life, whilst always having my artistic projects on the go.
