Wooden and Hybrid Fountain and Gel Pens
I have been making pens for several years, but in the last couple fof years Ive started taking it more seriously. As I used Fountain pens when I went to secondary school (High School for the younger generation) I have started produce a variety of these.
I have tried a variety of kits but now tend to use TM Omega, Jnr Gentleman and the Large Junior Gentleman, although still use other kits now and again for a bit of variety. For Ball point and Gel pens I like the TM Zeta and Keltoi and the Headwind from Beaufort Ink, but I also turn the Saturn and slim lines.
I like wooden pens, but since acquiring a pressure pot Ive started making my own Hybrid blanks, using watch parts, pine cones and off cuts of wood cast in both opaque and translucent coloured resin.
The pens are available from the post office in Bowness-on-Windermere. I also hope to attend some craft fairs in cumbria, Lancaster and Yorkshire this summer.
