Art work, cards, tee shirts - all hand drawn

I am a musician who also draws and paints. My art work usually follows story-lines with a strong influence from Eastern Orthodox Iconography, Picasso and Lowry.

I often use recycled packaging to add layers to my pictures.

Some of my art is from a random inspiration eg of a man who came and played honky-tonk piano in a kitchen. Then other art is from older characters who have developed over the years - in particular Chap Town and the Chap in a Hat inspired by my grandfather.

I have done many commissions for album art, posters and illustrations for poems. I am also very engaged in the local Music and Words scene.

I sell my art as originals, prints, cards and some on t-shirts.
