Sterling silver jewellery and global treasure hunt

I started making sterling silver jewellery as a way of escapism from covid. I am a nurse who has been on the frontline throughout the pandemic. People liked what I made and this spurred me on to take it to a level above just a hobby. I have also diversified my range into candles and we have artisan soaps adding to our range in 2022.

I like to use natural gems from local surroundings and cast them in sterling silver or incorporate things such as sea glass with silver to make all kinds of jewellery.

I have a website called Designs by la mer and we host local artists on that site to help them make the big leap to putting their work into the public eye. Some of them we being with us to our events giving them confidence. There is also a blog and we send regular updates out to our subscribers too.

We also have a YouTube channel where we travel all over the world bringing far off places to the comfort of your armchair. This is also called Designs by la mer.
