Hi I’m Matty.

After being made redundant due to the pandemic I decided to turn my hobby into a full time job and created Herringbone Woodwork. It’s just me on my own working out of a garage, with a handful of tools, creating made-to-measure furniture from reclaimed wood.

I build indoor and outdoor dining tables, desks, coffee tables, side tables and console tables. The designs incorporate a heavy rustic wooden top with black legs made from steel. Most involve a large beautiful herringbone pattern running down the middle of the table. Everything is customisable, from the dimensions you would like, the shade of varnish, to the choice of a different style of metal legs.
