LizzieSky Hall Art creates textile art sculputed figures and paints in oils

I am Lizzie Hall of Sky Hall Art. I have a studio at The Old Parcels Office Arts space in Scarborough where I paint contemporary colourist oil paintings. I also work in textiles enjoying free machine embroidery and hand embroidery creating pictures and sculpted figures. I love felt making too fusing my love of texture and colour in another creative practice.
I trained at Central St Martins Art School and Norfolk Painting School in painting and Fine Art and have exhibited both here and internationally. I designed and made costumes and head dresses and props for The Rude Mechanical Theatre Company based in East Sussex for 8 years and enjoyed the challenge of bringing characters alive in colourful creative costume on a tight budget.
