Hello I’m Vicky, creator of unique dried flower designs including wreaths, bouquets, jam jar flowers plus much more. I’m a naturally creative and qualified florist and have been working locally in florist shops over the last 10 years.
During lockdown I noted the increasing trend for ‘everlasting’ dried flower designs and so I began creating and selling my own pampas grass wreaths using our own home grown grasses.Over the course of the last 18 months with the help of my family, I have created a cutting garden where we now grow our own flowers to use and sell, such as Nigella, Roses, Delphinium, Poppies, Hydrangea plus much more.
I also take orders for seasonal fresh flower bouquets and wreaths which I deliver locally and aim to build that side of my business also.
I dry my flowers using various methods in my workshop at home in West Sussex. I use only organic products in the garden, as we need to protect the vast array of wildlife we have at home including rabbits, deer, moles, hundreds different birds and always planting to attract the bees. We also have eight pet sheep which keep the grass naturally fertilised, after shearing I keep the wool to use as a natural slug prevention on the flower beds.
I use a mix of flowers and grasses in my designs which are on trend home decor, boho-chic. I can also create event decoration where larger scale arrangements can be made to fit any space - such as wall hangings or floating flower designs.
They are long lasting - having a shelf life of two to three years or longer and they do make fabulous gifts for any occasion.
We aim to be environmentally friendly in the use of materials and flowers which are grown not flown.
