Quarry Pottery

I am a little pottery maker and have been making small fine and practical items for a number of years.

I am a little pottery maker and by no means a master of the craft but am increasingly absorbed by the creative and practical processes involved. I have been making small fine and practical items as a hobby for a few years, using a variety of clays and glazes. In the past I have made items for family, friends and selling for a local charity. I dont make batches and everything is an individual piece. but I am currently working to improve by reworking ideas.
I throw small bowls, seed pots and mugs and hand build a variety of decorative and novelty items. I am currently exploring textures to make tiles and slam pots, which are great as small gifts as well as being very useful.
I am based in South Devon and many of my pottery ides are inspired by the sea, coast and Devon landscapes driven by natural materials found by the seashore or on country walks.
