Home created produce using bee by-products (beeswax, honey, pollen, propolis)
Hi, Im Victoria but please call me Vic.
I have always been passionate about our bees, such beautiful, bright little creatures, busily buzzing about minding their own business working wonders for their kind, our kind and our planet. Their produce is so good for us in so many ways, packed full of natural vitamins and minerals and so easily and safely utilised by us on a day to day basis.
I was extremely lucky to have grown up in Cornwall in the middle of nowhere, of course I didnt think that at the time but now I feel privileged to have had the upbringing that I did. But now when the time matters to me I do not have the space nor the privilege to have hives as my parents did. So this is my cunning plan...
1) Make my beloved hobby into a little business
2) Use my business to promote the beauty of the bee
3) Support bee organisations and charities
4) Find local farmers who are willing to allow my placing of hives on their land to enable my ownership (do we really ever own such a commodity as a bee?) of hives
Id like to think that now in July 2021 that I have achieved points 1 and 2, I am very close to 3 and 4 is still a dream but every day a closer one than it was yesterday! So I make beautiful 100 percent beeswax candles and wax melts, I have just achieved my Cosmetic Product Safety Reports that will enable me to sell my lovely goats milk and honey soaps. I have a pile of amazing recipes that I have been working on and they will come to fruition one by one as I raise the funds to get them approved. This is a long and slow process, no matter how impatient I am, this is all being funded by my own pocket, no loans or silent partners, just me, my kitchen some great suppliers and a dream.
