Pebbles and Dash

Artist and surface pattern designer creating colourful hand painted acrylic art, homewares and leather clutch bags.

I am Jennie Fynn, artist and pattern designer behind Pebbles and Dash.
Pebbles and Dash was created from my love of colourful art and passion for bold abstract patterns and textiles. I paint colourful acrylic paintings inspired by nature and my love of Japanese textiles and embroidery. My artistic style is flat, colourful graphical shapes with texture and detail. I am lucky to live in the beautiful Hampshire countryside in England where I am surrounded by constant inspiration but I am also influenced by the work of Matisse and the textile designer Josef Frank.

All of my artwork and designs start as hand painted originals which are available for sale before being printed onto leather clutch bags, cushions, stationary and homewares.

I have also worked as an interior designer so I understand how home accessories and art can bring personality and a joyous feeling to a home. I love to see an eye-catching patterned hand bag or a mountain of bold colourful patterned cushions against a plain sofa energising a whole room.

My artwork has been published in Uppercase magazine’s Surface Pattern Design Guide 49 April/May/June 2021.
