When covid brought our swing dance business to an abrupt halt, in March 2020, my business partner Shirley and I (Jean) discovered we didnt just have a love of dance in common, we also both had a passion for crafting. We began by producing a range of washable pure cotton face masks, using high quality, quilting cotton from local suppliers. We worked on the basis that if we had to wear masks, they might as well be attractive! Over the next few months, we began to expand the range of items we sold, but still ensuring everything was designed and made by ourselves with materials sourced, wherever and whenever possible, from local shops and suppliers. We now produce a range of reasonably priced unique gifts such as patchwork/quilted table runners, table mats and coasters, spectacle cases and jewellery pouches. We also produce needle-felted animal sculptures, pet portraits, landscapes and other needle felted items. We produce needle felting kits and run needle felting courses. We also enjoy making customized gifts for Christmas, Easter and special occasions. We regularly update our range and website and offer an extensive on-line shop.
