I make unique fused glass items for everyday use. To keep or give as presents. Bespoke items for special occasions to order.

The unique fused glass items which I produce are designed for everyday. This means they are substantial enough to be used like normal tableware. The glass I use is food safe and the made items are very shiny, it will eventually dull down in the dishwasher, so to maintain the beautiful glossy appearance I recommend washing it by hand.
I can provide a bespoke service and if you cannot find exactly what you want, either on the Racing Tabby website or at a craft fair, just ask and subject to practicalities, I can make it for you.
I make special occasions presents too, for wedding anniversaries, birthdays, engagements, retirements and other milestones in life. I have a range of seasonal specialities for Christmas, Easter, Mothers Day and Valentines Day and if there is a particular cultural or religious festival where beautiful glassware is needed I am sure I can design and make something suitable.
The glass I start off with is handmade in flat sheets and I then then turn it into unique and beautiful articles in my kiln. This means that even in a set, no two items can possibly be identical, even though they may look the same at first glance. I normally have the following items in stock :- platters and dishes from 10cm square to 40cm square, coasters, wind chimes, soap dishes, spoon rests, brooches, trees and tea lights.
We are trying hard to keep things local, sustainable and British wherever possible, EU sourced or another country which has human rights legislation in place and enforced if we really cant find the right materials in the UK.
I live and work on the Essex/Suffolk border and sell mostly through my website, although I am building up an export business to the USA and Australia.
