I have always been a keen dressmaker during lockdown, after I had made myself a completely new wardrobe, I ventured into the Handbag word and started making for friends and now receive commissions to make bags specifically designed for the customer. So Swim bags, bags reflecting a persons character, my dog hand bags are well received Using a fabric of the customers dog breed. I try and use recycled fabric for linings and the fabric in use is from a eco friendly company. I label all things I make - hand made in the shed as. I make from a shed in my garden and the bags are called quarantine bags as that’s when it all started for me! I work with an upholsterer who is also a competent at sewing so we compliment each other well
