I make and sell a very varied range of products for the home. Home fragrance , fabric lampshades, Jewellery and soft furnishings
I am passionate about quality eco friendly soap and so I and sell my own bars of soap, all made from organic, cruelty and palm oil free and vegan ingredients and legally assessed and registered in the UK.
I also make hand blended Scented diffusers, all beautifully presented and boxed.
I make my own unique handmade cushions and gorgeous lampshades and if the client wants a lampshade in a particular size and fabric or cushions to match a lampshade, I will take orders and make them specifically for the client.
I also make aprons, extra large peg bags which are great for general storage as are my fabric storage boxes and iPad/tablet cases, notebook bags and childrens drawstring activity bags full of great things to do.
One of the very different items I make and sell are hand painted terracotta plant pots.
These are Quality crafts, beautifully presented and reasonably priced. Along with my talented son, we make and sell a small amount of silver craft jewellery and finally, I paint in acrylics and make available for sale a very small number of my canvases.
I was spurred on to start making home products when I realised how expensive they were becoming and I decided to make them for myself and also to make them more affordable for everyone. I started with decorated planters and fabric lampshades and cushions and with the encouragement of my fellow crafters at the Barholm cooperative Gallery in Creetown, I expanded my range.
Originally I lived and produced my stuff in my garden workshop Scotland and sold them on a market in Wigtown and eventually joined 4 other ladies in the Barholm Craft Gallery Cooperative in Creetown. I now live in York but still sell crafts in Scotland.
