Family members joining together using their diverse talents to create unique hand made jewellery, cards, home decor and gifts
Three Crafty Branches are three family members - two Sisters and a Niece. We Sisters have been crafting for many years and our Niece has recently joined us. Together we have many varied crafting interests which include handmade jewellery, cards, home décor, gifts, mixed media items and innovative products.
Lily - When I retired 19 years ago (I did retire early!) I was looking for a hobby which Id never had time to pursue when working. My younger Sister Diane introduced me to card making and I quickly became addicted. This was a blessing and a curse as the spare room was quickly filled up with paper, envelopes, glue etc., etc. My husband was exasperated with all the parcels arriving each day with new goodies, but he soon realised craft was here to stay! I then found semi-precious gems and my love of jewellery making sat alongside the paper and cards. I like to try all sorts of craft and find there arent enough hours in the day! So many crafts - so little time! And I think if I lived to 120 I have so much product I wouldnt have to buy another thing!
Diane - Memories of crafting and the love of making something unique with a special
meaning have been with our family for as long as I can remember. This love
has branched out to others in our family and the pleasure of crafting
together has grown and flourished and hopefully will continue to blossom.
I personally love to take a blank piece of card or a beautiful stone or
sheet of material and create something that will bring joy to others.
Hazel – Always had an interest in sugar craft but once I retired I had time to spend with my Aunt learning other craft skills. My primary interest is card making for all occasions using dies, stamps, glitter and bling. These can be personalised to suit the person or occasion. Secondly I have enjoyed creating mixed media and home accents because I could not buy the things I wanted for my home. These range from tree hangings for Christmas to wall plaques for rooms in the home.
