The passion for art has continued throughout my life since childhood, inspired by a love of animals and nature. I was thrilled when my coloured pencil portrait of an orangutan,  entitled    Contemplation, was selected for the finalist exhibition of David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation, Artist of the Year 2011

 I began working on a life long ambition of becoming a professional artist, working from my studio in Leicestershire.

Working from photos of my subjects, I offer that personal touch and unique, individual pieces of art in a style of realism, capturing character in fine detail and rich colour.

Seeing the joy on the faces of customers when they see their finished commissioned pet portraits for the first time is so rewarding and only enhances the pleasure gained from creating my artwork.

Growing concerns regarding the worlds environmental status, endangered species, animal cruelty and of how fragile earths ecosystem has become has lead me to be more aware of the materials I use in creating my artwork and work with an eco friendly ethos.                                                    

   I  am also proud to support both wildlife and domestic animal charities through my artwork.
