Gamze Polat makes contemporary and handcrafted jewellery. She has been designing and making bespoke pieces in a London based studio for 3 years now.
She makes handcrafted jewellery using traditional techniques and ancient crafts that have not changed for hundreds of years. Her designs are inspired by natural forms and ancient designs. She studied Archaeology and had a Master degree on the field with a special interest of Roman Times jewellery. She later retrained in jewellery making at Central Saint Martins - University of the Arts London and London Jewellery Workshop and is now a full time jeweller.
