I enjoy making bags and other items, where possible repurposing fabrics to make something different, and useful.

I was taught to sew and knit many years ago by my mother and have always enjoyed making things. While my family was growing up and I worked full time I had less time to sew. Now, having left full time employment I have dusted off my sewing machine and have started to sew again. I started making myself a gardening apron and, encouraged by friends, made more and sold some. I added bunting and hand crafted bags, and started to sell those. I really like to look at a fabric or remnant and consider how best to turn it into an item that will look good, be original, and be useful.
