Printmaker and Ceramic artist Kate sculpts miniature ceramic penguins inspired by Antarctic travel.

Bio of Kate Aldridge Art
After graduating from Cambridge School of Art in 2008 with a BA (hons) in Fine Art Printmaking, Kate began her journey into ceramic design creating penguins and bird sculptures by hand. She enjoys experimenting with surfaces, mark-making and using her own handmade linocut stamps to adorn her work.
She started to rehome her little penguins when shelf space was running low, and now, as Kate continues to make and develop her huddle, you’ll also find ceramic brooches and wall plaques, lino printed wall art, homewares and stationery in her product range, with inspirations ranging from Antarctic penguins, plants, coffee and vintage kitchenalia.
