Tigoung Nonma is a co-operative of Artists and Craft designers based in Burkina Faso West-Africa

I sell Art objects and Craft designs on behalf of a co-operative of physically disabled Designers and Artists based in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. Tigoung Nonma means Strength through Unity and members specialise in different Art or Craft domains. For example leather work, textiles, bronze sculptures, jewellery design, Art made from recycled materials and woodwork. A highly skilled group of entrepreneurs, Tigoung Nonma came together in 2005 to create a business to improve their lives. However, due to the unjust global economy and the significant security threat in the area it has become increasingly difficult for the co-operative to support its members.
