Felt Up Crafts

I’ve always been a crafter, my gran taught me lots of things but it’s only in recent years that the bug has hit me hard.

Hi I’m Sally and I’m a textile addict.
I create needle felted objects, some of which have armatures and are pose-able.

I also make 2D pictures using needle felting and embroidery and have made some Nuno felted scarves.

I love working with fibre and watching my creations come to life. Wool can have a mind of its own and sometimes the end product is not at all what was in my mind.

Crafting started out as a hobby to take my mind off the pain I get from fibromyalgia but it soon became apparent that people liked my creations when I was getting commissions to make things.

I have a pet boarding business and trying to balance that and needle felting has been difficult at times and I would very much love to craft full time.
