JBR World of Abstract - Painting

JBR World of Abstract

I am a veterinary surgeon with genuine passion for my job and abstract acrylic pour painting.

Acrylic pour painting was initially way of relaxing, recently it takes my every free minute. I paint on canvas, canvas board and plywood using various pouring techniques: dirty pour, swipe, Dutch pour and mixtures of all of them.

My paintings are abstracts with the themes being animals, life, nature. I like contrast, bright colours, finding out combinations that give unique effects together. My favourite colours, all shades of blue and green with highlight on turquoise, teal and bright greens frequently feature in my art. I love creating with given colours and colour themes so I am more than happy to create for commissions.

All my paintings are varnished with minimum three layers of gloss varnish, waterproof, UV proof, ready to hang - no need for frames as edges are finished with colours of the painting or are a continuity of the picture. All paintings are signed.

Recently I also started to use acrylic skins, left over after painting, to create unique pendants and earrings. These are based on silver or rose gold trays and come either as single pendant or as a set of pendant and earrings. Multiple, unique colour combinations make them interesting, standing out.
