From butter knives to boats Ian is passionate about all things wood.

Tern Wood Craft and Tern Boats and Boards produce wooden items to play on, use in the home or hang on the wall as art. Utilising eco techniques and materials where possible Ian tries to keep the ecological impact of his craft to a minimum using natural materials locally sourced.

Growing up in Cornwall in a family of sailors and fishermen Ian naturally gravitated to a career in ship building, but his love of wood, food and design led him to start a company with a unique flavour of the sea, smell of sawn oak and the feel of hand crafted objects.
