3D frames capturing icons entertainment and sport in miniature
3D art by Leigh
Hi my name is Leigh. I was born in Edmonton north London.
I cant really remember when I first started doing art it just seems its always been there.
I worked as a tattoo apprentice for a while and made custom subbuteo teams as a personal hobby and that is how I came across making 3D frames and it has become a huge creative outlet for me.
The first frame I made was an only fools and horses one and it just opened up a creative door so I just began to make any character I could think of and then put it on Facebook for sale. Pretty soon I began to get custom requests from people so I decided that I may have stumbled across something and decided to open this Etsy store.
I started working from my dining room table and pretty soon I outgrew my space and moved to a little workshop at the end of my garden. My journey so far has been such an awesome adventure from sitting up until 3am to complete orders and sending my art all over the world , Im proud to say that my art has been sent to every continent in the world and has been sent to 40 of the 52 states in America.
Im so proud that something that started from a table in a dining room has been sent all over the world with some beautiful reviews. I have worked on all kinds of subjects from celebrities to memorials.
I truly believe that my art is endless there isnt a subject or person that cannot be made miniature.
My plans for the future are to have a studio with a 3D printer and scanner to take my art to the next level, potentially a shop/selling space and ultimately an exhibition. Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my website
The world of miniature is endless and I’d like to think there isn’t anyone I couldn’t attempt at making
