Ts Wacky Woods

My name is Teresa, I started creating decorative pieces out of wood using Pyrography, cutting and sanding pieces, varnishing them on completion about 8 years ago. Woodwork for me has been a therapy and a joy, from a teenager I loved working with wood, however it was not always accepted in school!

I take great joy in creating unique pieces using burning techniques. Experimenting with new techniques is always fascinating to me, working with resin is also something I am venturing into with the hope over time of developing beautiful results that I can one day soon share confidently with others.

My daughter started me sharing my work at craft fairs after I started making requested items for friends and family. It is such a joy to share something I love with others and for it to become part of their homes, or a chosen special gift, since then we have been working as a team to design and share the pieces with others.
