Bilsdale Bows is a traditional cottage industry business run from home in the beautiful rural landscape of the Yorkshire Dales.
It is owned and managed by Karen Vickers (BA) who gained a degree in Fine Art and Design at Bretton Hall College, now the home of the famous Yorkshire Sculpture Park.
Karen has recently re-kindled her interest in the use of yarn, wool and textiles to develop the new range of accessories including headbands, bags, bow ties and even bows for pets. All items are hand made including the finishing creating a unique product every time.
Anyone interested can choose from a wide selection of colours and types of yarn, including alpaca wool locally sourced. Any combination can be catered for and multiples of the same design can be made to order. Colour matching for special occasions such as weddings can be created alongside other specific design features such as embellishment with additional decorative finishes.
