Vintage Style Fair isle, Fun and Fancy Hand Knits

My real passion is vintage style fair isle knitwear using British pure wool yarn, My all time favourites are Shetland, Jacob, and Blue Face Leicester sheep wool. If I get the opportunity to purchase Rare British Breed sheep’s wool, I always try to add it to my stash for that something special. Sustainability is the key.

I am crazy over vintage patterns from 1920s onwards and love collecting, though another is designing new patterns or reproducing knitwear from photographs.

I also hand knit using various yarn weights and mixes - throws, shawls and clothing items for you and your loved ones not forgetting the furry members of your family. Hand knitting is my thing, I do not hand machine. Making an item may take longer, but its a pleasure not a chore.

My clients come from all across the world, with many of my fair isles being despatched to America, Australia, Hong Kong, Czech Republic and Japan, to name a few.

All garments are unique, even if clients want the similar pattern non have the same colour placement, to ensure clients have something special to them.
