Pit fired unique vases plus a range of sculptural and decorative stoneware including platters, bowls, jugs and vases.

I have various areas of interest in my stoneware ceramic work.

I enjoy exploring unusual combinations of oxides glazes and textures to create vases with a scuptural feel such as 3d images of cormorants and herons .

Slip trailing bold images on dishes usually referring to animals, natural forms, flowers, trees etc

I also enjoy experimenting with pit firing pots to achieve abstract smokey / marble effects using sawdust, straw, seaweed, oxides and lots of other ingredients to create unique pieces.
